The Wildcats advanced two athletes to the next round of competition and another to the national meet on the opening day at the NCAA Track East Preliminary in Jacksonville

B-CU's track team is prepared to take on the postseason, boasting one of the largest group of qualifiers in program history for this year's NCAA East Regional Preliminary, set for next week in Jacksonville, Fla.

B-CU track made one final bid for added NCAA qualifications on Friday and Saturday at the Georgia Tech Invitational, concluding the 2014 outdoor regular season.

The Bethune-Cookman Wildcats made program history on the final day of competition at the 2014 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Each squad maintained its position into the final day at North Carolina A&T's Irwin Belk Track. After two days, the men are in first place and the women in second at the MEAC Championships.
